Who is behind BatumiReviews?
BatumiReviews is written by the BatumiReviews Team. The reviews belong to the team, and no single named person writes or signs them.
BatumiReviews is not a directory that lists every business that asks. A business makes a ranked list only when it passes our entry checks and we would send someone there.

Who does the work?
The BatumiReviews Team decides the order of every list by judgement, and every review is built from public evidence.
For every list, we:
Read each business's website and prices, and note the date we saw each price
Test the language versions of its website
Check its claims about itself against dated records, such as archived copies of its website
Read what its customers write on several platforms, in the language they wrote in
Decide the order of a ranked list by asking whether we would send a friend there before the next business
Re-read the list every month, and correct and log any error we confirm
The full method is on how we review and rank Batumi businesses.
Which categories do we review?
We review estate agencies, hotels and daily apartments in Batumi today. Some lists exist in one language only for now.
Each date is the one printed on that list. Health lists are not in our first wave, and new lists are added here when they are published.
How do we check a business?
Every business on a ranked list goes through the same entry checks and gets the same review block, with at least one real flaw, and every list carries the date of its check. The order is our judgement. A business's Google rating and what its customers say feed it, but they do not decide it. We do not publish the names of businesses we checked and left off. The entry checks, what we judge in each category and how we keep a list current are set out on our method page.
How many businesses are on our lists?
20businesses are ranked on our lists as of .
They are 8 estate agencies and 12 hotels, and the table above shows the date each list was last checked. Our daily apartments page ranks no businesses. It compares booking sites and apartment buildings.
Where else can you find us?
Our Facebook page is the only profile BatumiReviews has outside this site today. It names the same BatumiReviews and links back to batumireviews.ge.
