Hosting logs, by Cloudflare

Cloudflare hosts the site and serves every page. To deliver pages and protect the site from attacks, Cloudflare processes technical data from each request, such as your IP address, the time, the page requested and your browser's user agent. Cloudflare may also set a strictly necessary security cookie to tell people apart from automated traffic. This cookie has no marketing use.

Visit statistics, by Umami

We count visits with Umami Analytics to see which pages help readers. Umami sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and keeps no personal data: it does not store your IP address and cannot follow you from one site to another. It records the page you open, the site that sent you, your country, your type of device, browser and language, and clicks on a business's website or map and on our email address. Those clicks let us tell a business how many readers went to it.

Emails you send us

If you write to info@batumireviews.ge, we receive your email address, your name if you give it, and what you write. Mail to that address passes through Cloudflare Email Routing and is delivered to a mailbox hosted by Google. We use it only to reply and to act on what you wrote, for example to check and correct a fact.

Fonts

The site's fonts are stored on our own server. Your browser does not contact a font service when you read a page.

• Cloudflare hosts the site and routes our email. Its privacy policy applies to the data it processes.
• Google hosts our mailbox. Its privacy policy applies.
• Umami runs our visit statistics. Its privacy policy applies.

We do not sell your data and we do not share it with anyone else, unless the law requires it.

Cloudflare serves the site from its worldwide network. Our mailbox is run by Google, which processes data in several countries, including the United States. Umami stores our visit statistics on its own servers, which may be outside Georgia.

BatumiReviews sets no analytics or advertising cookies: Umami counts visits without them. Cloudflare's security cookie, if set, is strictly necessary and is not used to track you.

BatumiReviews reviews businesses, not private individuals. When a business trades under a person's name, we publish only what the review needs: the business name and the facts about its service. We do this in our legitimate interest in publishing reviews, and in the public's interest in reading them. If you are named and want to correct something or object, write to info@batumireviews.ge.

You can ask us:

• whether we hold data about you, and for a copy of it;
• to correct data that is wrong;
• to delete it, or to stop or limit its use;

Write to info@batumireviews.ge and say what you want. We reply within 10 working days. If we need more time, we tell you why within that period, and we never take more than 10 further working days.

If you think we have handled your data wrongly, you can complain to the State Audit Office of Georgia, which oversees personal data protection: sao.ge.

BatumiReviews is written for adults choosing a service in Batumi and is not aimed at children. If a child has written to us, a parent or guardian can ask us to delete that message.

When you follow a link from BatumiReviews to another site, that site's own privacy policy applies.

If what we process changes, for example when a new service is added, we update this page before the change takes effect, and the date below changes with it.
